Comments in the writing course (10/13)

討論FDT之前言部分

建議:
1. 可列出段落大綱,以利讀者了解段落前後的連貫及促進討論效率。
2. 肯定的理由,但非只此單一理由導致後果,且有其它的理由,所以在只書寫一個理由時,可使用primary, largely, one of primary contribution以表示。
3. 不熟悉發音的英文字,(1) 多念幾次,網路上可查詢標準發音;(2) 可使用其它英文字取代。

原先的寫作"The practice effect represents improvements in performance, because repeated testing with the same or similar measure results in learning of the material. The practice effect is influenced by the number of administrations."

修改後之寫作"The practice effect is practice-related measurement error, which leads to improvements in performance. There may be two sources for causing the practice effect, such as test-specific practice and item-specific practice. Test-specific practice indicates that the individuals may develop test strategies, because of repeated testing. Item-specific practice means that the individual may remember the test items from previous test. The practice effect is largely influenced by the number of administrations."
