有6個面向，依據EFA之結果刪題後再執行CFA分析。結果顯示此6個面向之4個CFA指標都符合標準 (χ2/df < 3.00, CFI ≥ 0.950, TLI ≥ 0.950, and RMSEA < 0.080)。所有符合單向度的面向，進行面向總分之one-factor CFA分析，結果顯示10個面向之CFA模式成立，此10個面向分數加總可代表整體ADL狀態。此外，4個IADL面向(i.e., independence, leisure, transportation facility use, and communication tool use)和5個認知相關ADL面向(i.e., picture recognition, current events, literacy ability, money calculation, and problem-solving ability)之one-factor CFA模式成立，4個IADL面向與5個認知相關ADL面向之分數加總，分別可代表個案IADL和認知相關ADL之能力。
符合單向度模式的10個面向之Cronbach’s alpha都>0.70。然而，已刪題之5個面向 (personal hygiene、current events、money calculation、transportation tool use、communication tool use)和未刪題的leisure有ceiling effect。Leisure面向原本有14題 (每題1分)，原始總分超過10分，以10分計算。若以原始分數計算 (不刪減總分)，此面向就無明顯的ceiling effect (2.0%)。其它已刪題之5個面向可能需要增加困難度較高之項目，以區辨高功能患者之間的差異。另外，已刪題之money calculation有floor effect，此面向應加入困難度較低之項目，以區辨低功能患者之間的差異。
